WHY BOOK DICOVERERS?
Specialist Early-Years Instructors
Our Discoverers instructors aren’t just qualified to teach skiing, they’re selected for their background in working with young children, and trained in how to deliver learning in a way that aligns with early-years development. Many have additional childcare, education, or psychology experience and are first-aid and safeguarding certified.
1:4 Instructor Ratio
Young children need time, attention, and patience. Our strict maximum of four children per instructor ensures they receive all three. With fewer children to manage, instructors can focus on individual needs, whether that’s a confidence wobble, a bathroom break, or celebrating a new skill.
Research-Led, Play-Based Approach
Studies show that young children learn best through active play and exploration. We design our sessions around those principles: movement, imagination, repetition, and emotional safety. This means your child builds foundational skiing skills while also developing balance, coordination, and confidence in a mountain environment.
Start Strong, Stay Curious
First impressions matter. A calm, joyful start to skiing sets the tone for how a child feels about snow sports for years to come. We aim to ensure your child ends each session asking, “Can I do that again tomorrow?”, and that’s how lifelong skiers are made.
Where Do group lessons Meet?
All group lessons, including kids and adult clinics, meet at set locations to ensure a smooth start and clear organisation.
Please arrive 5–10 minutes early, with lift pass and equipment ready. Your instructor will be there to greet you and get the group moving!
