At Connect Snowsports, private lessons are built around you. That means we can meet you:
At your hotel, chalet, or apartment
At a lift station
On the mountain itself
We’ll confirm your preferred meeting point before the lesson — or help you choose the best one based on your level, goals, and where you’re staying.
That said, here are the most common meeting points we use in Zermatt, with tips on how to get there and direct map links.
🚡 1. Bottom of the Sunnegga Express
📍 Outside Bayard Sport, next to the Sunnegga Express entrance

As you walk along the river, look for the large blue “Sunnegga – Rothorn” sign. Bayard Sport is directly next door — your instructor will meet you outside.
💡 Good for: early morning starts, fast access to blues and reds
🏔️ 2. Top of the Sunnegga Express
📍 Just outside the exit of the funicular, on snow

Take the underground funicular from the Sunnegga base station in town (runs every 10 mins, 7 min ride). At the top, exit via stairs or elevator — we’ll meet you on the snow just outside.
💡 Good for: meeting mid-mountain or when starting the day higher up
🚠 3. Bottom of the Matterhorn Express
📍 Outside Dorsaz Sports, near the gondola station

Arriving by bus or taxi? You'll be dropped off near the river. Cross the bridge, take the elevator up to the gondola station, and your instructor will be waiting outside by Dorsaz Sports.
💡 Good for: skiing to Italy, glacier access, full-day guiding
🗻 4. Furi Station
📍 Outside the lift building and kiosk

Take the Matterhorn Express from the village to the first station, Furi (7 minutes). Exit the lift building and look for your instructor near the kiosk.
💡 Good for: starting higher up on a powder day, or quick access to Schwarzsee/Riffelberg
🏞️ 5. Riffelberg
📍 On-snow, just outside the Riffelberg Express exit

Take the Matterhorn Express to Furi, change to the Riffelberg Express, and ride to the top. Your instructor will meet you where the gondola drops you off, on the snow.
💡 Good for: intermediate and advanced skiers starting mid-mountain
❄️ 6. Trockener Steg
📍 On snow, after the exit barriers

Ride the Matterhorn Express all the way to the top (approx. 25 minutes). Once you pass through the exit gates, you’ll find your instructor waiting on the snow.
💡 Good for: skiing into Italy, high-altitude carving, advanced training
